Junior Peyton Price hit a game winning walk-off two run double with two out in the 7th to give Alexander Central a dramatic win over McDowell on Wednesday at Central Park in Taylorsville.
The Lady Cougars took a lead in the first when Faith Carrigan plated a run with a double. McDowell would answer in the 3rd when Jessica Cannon slugged a two-run homer. The visiting Titans held that lead until the home half of the 7th.
Price went 3-4, Chesney Stikeleather had a pair of hits and scored a run. Faith Carrigan got the win in the circle allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.
