Ky Allen Oxentine
Oxentine was arrested on Wednesday for failure to appear. He was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday on charges filed in May for hit and run and a series of other traffic related offenses. Oxentine also is awaiting trial in Catawba County for larceny. He’s being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.
Oxentine has a long criminal history. He was released from prison in November, 2023 after serving a 14 month sentence for safecracking, larceny and obtaining property by false pretense.
