Iredell-Statesville Schools announced a new restriction for all high school athletic events.
In the last several weeks, the system has experienced some security issues at football games.
Starting this week, IS-S will enforce a no bag policy at all games. This means no bags, including purses, tote bags, diaper bags, and backpacks, will be permitted. Guests who arrive at the gate with a bag of any size will be required to return their bags to their vehicles before entering an event.
