Humphries was previously arrested in February for felony Possession of Methamphetamine, felony Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Schedule IV (Clonazepam), Felony Maintain a vehicle for the use and sale of a Controlled Substance, misdemeanor Possession of Schedule IV (Alprazolam), misdemeanor Possession of Schedule IV (Diazepam), and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
After that arrest, Narcotics Investigators opened an investigation into Humphries involvement in the distribution of narcotics in Iredell County. During this investigation, Narcotics Investigators were able to purchase a Trafficking quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine (34 grams) directly from Humphries.
Investigators and Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team Deputies were able to obtain information that Humphries was going to be at a gas station off exit 45 and interstate 77 and should be in possession of additional narcotics. Deputes made contact with Humphries and found her to be in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine (19.1 grams).
The new charges include felony Trafficking by Sell Crystal Methamphetamine, felony Trafficking by Transportation Crystal Methamphetamine, felony Trafficking by Possession Crystal Methamphetamine, felony Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine, felony Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine, felony Maintain a vehicle for the use and sale of a Controlled Substance and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
It was also discovered that she had additional arrest warrant(s) from Cleveland County for Trafficking Methamphetamine.
Humphries is being held in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $1.5 million.
