Two suspects have been arrested and another is being sought in a case in Iredell County. On Thursday, June 5, deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to the break-in to a residence in eastern Iredell County.

The homeowner, who was out of town, contacted the Sheriff’s Office after receiving notification from their home security system of unknown persons inside their home. The homeowner observed two suspects on video surveillance taking items from the home and leaving in a silver passenger car.

Deputies quickly responded to the scene, but the suspects had left the area before their arrival. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to assist in the investigation. Detectives obtained images of the suspects and the suspect vehicle from the homeowner. The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Brandon Samir Adams, 25-year-old Daylan Grant Hallman, and 23-year-old Fred Cox IV, all of Statesville.

Adams was arrested on Wednesday (June 10) and charged with two felony counts of breaking or entering and single felony counts of larceny after breaking or entering and conspiracy. Adams received a $75,000 secured bond. Hallman was arrested Thursday (June 12) and charged with felony counts of breaking or entering, larceny after breaking or entering and conspiracy. Hallman was jailed under no bond.

Fred Cox IV has an outstanding arrest warrant for felony conspiracy. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fred Cox IV to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (704) 878-3180.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more charges are possible.
