Two suspects are facing felony drug charges after Iredell County Sheriff’s Deputies found methamphetamine and other drugs at a residence.
Valerie Kaye Gritzinger, age 48, and Angel Gustavo Valenzuela Jimenez, age 28, both of Statesville were taken into custody on Saturday, December 7th.A search of the residence at 731 Stonecrest Drive uncovered approximately 15.66 grams of methamphetamine, 2.57 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 8.84 grams of marijuana, and various items of drug and marijuana paraphernalia.
Both suspects lived at the location and were charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, manufacture, or sell methamphetamine; felony possession of methamphetamine; felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance; and three misdemeanor drug offenses.Gritzinger and Jimenez were jailed under $40,000 secured bonds. Jimenez was also served with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation order.
