…INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON…
The combination of wind gusts in the 25 to 35 mph range, relative humidity values in the 20 to 30 percent, and dry fuel moisture levels will lead to increased fire danger on Wednesday. These conditions will develop over the North Carolina Foothills and Piedmont and much of the mountains. Conditions should improve by evening as winds begin to taper off and relative humidity values begin to recover.
