Tasha Deann Oxford
During an appearance in Alexander County Court on Monday, 33-year old Tasha Deann Oxford was given active jail time of 45 days in the Alexander County Detention Center. She was found guilty of felony hit and run and misdemeanor death by vehicle. Oxford was operating a vehicle in June of 2023 when she struck another vehicle in Alexander County. According to the NC Highway Patrol, Royce Ladell Hall Jr., 35, of Taylorsville died a few days later as result of injuries in the crash.
