Hudson Drug House Raided By Caldwell County Deputies

On March 8, a suspected Hudson residence, used for selling Methamphetamine, was raided by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office ICE Unit.

Billy Ray Potter, age 57, was taken into custody without incident. Agents conducted a search of the home and located approximately 248 grams of Methamphetamine, a .45 caliber handgun and U.S. currency. The Methamphetamine seized during the investigation has a street value of $42,000.

As a result, Potter was charged with one count of Felonious Trafficking Methamphetamine by Possession. If convicted, Potter faces mandatory prison time. Potter was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond. He had a first appearance in District Court on March 11, 2024.
