An Alexander County home was destroyed by fire over the weekend .
Taylorsville, Sugar Loaf and Hiddenite firefighters responded around 2:40 pm Sunday to a location off Black Oak Ridge Road. The dwelling was engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported.
