Hollar Wins 900th Career Game

Lenoir-Rhyne Softball coach Shena Hollar won her 900th career game on Friday when the Bears swept Southern New Hampshire in Hickory.

Hollar is an Alexander County native. She attended Alexander Central High and is a member of the Alexander County Sports Hall of Fame.

LRU swept the twinbill winning 8-0 and 6-2.

The wins were Coach Hollar’s 855th and 856th at LRU (45 wins at Newberry). Hollar is one of nine active coaches in Division II with 900 plus wins.
