Highway 64-90 is now open west of Taylorsville. A multi-vehicle crash closed the busy roadway earlier this morning. According to Alexander County Emergency Communications, at least two people were transported to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown. The North Carolina Highway Patrol in investigating the crash.
