Sheri Billings Coley, age 54 of Hiddenite is being held in custody. Coley was detained Saturday on arrest warrants for failure to appear on charges of simple assault and speeding. She was also cited for parole violation. Coley is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $23,000. A Monday court date is scheduled.
