Hiddenite Man Jailed For Violation Of Sex Offender Status

Monty Roger George, age 51 of Hiddenite, was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on Tuesday for violation of his sex offender status. He has been released on bond and is scheduled for a Friday, February 7th court appearance in Taylorsville.

George also has a case pending for the same offense in Iredell County. He has previous charges awaiting trial in Alexander County that include felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering
