Caleb Levi Garland, age 38 of Hiddenite, was detained by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female, communicating threats and larceny. Garland remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
