An Alexander County man is in Catawba County custody. Jonathan Blackwood Collins, age 27, of Mooseberry Ln, Hiddenite was confined in the Catawba County Detention Center on Monday. Collins was indicted by a Catawba County Grand Jury in April on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. As reported on April 10th, Blackwood was arrested and served the warrants by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.
