Hiddenite Man Facing Out Of State Drug Charges

An Alexander County man was arrested on out of state fugitive warrants on Monday.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 31-year old Branden Lee Eckert of Hiddenite on warrants from the state of Colorado. The warrants were for unspecified drug charges. Eckert was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $150,000 and awaits extradition to face the out of state charges.
