Rodney Dean Matlock, age 53 of Hiddenite, was arrested Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle /dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Matlock has been released under a secured bond of $10,000.
