37-year old Ricky James Kilby of Hiddenite is being held in custody on Catawba County charges. He was arrested Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine. Killby is in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $7,500 and is scheduled to make a court appearance on Friday, March 24th. Another charge is pending against Kilby in Catawba County for misdemeanor larceny and financial card fraud. That court date is April 12th in Newton.
