Hiddenite Man Continues To Accumulate Charges

Hermon Deweiricol Chambers, 43 of Hiddenite, was arrested on Thursday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a felon. As of earlier today, Chambers is no longer listed as an inmate in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Chambers has previous drug charges pending in Alexander County that include felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also awaiting trial on charges of felony probation violation, felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

Upcoming court dates include June 3rd, 4th and 10th in Alexander County District Court and July 15th in Superior Court.
