Skyler Allen Jones, age 31 of Hiddenite, was taken into custody on Thursday by the North Carolina Highway Patrol and charged with hit and run, failure to report an accident and driving with license revoked. He has been released from custody under a $3,000 bond and has a court date scheduled for October 28th in Taylorsville.
