Hiddenite Man Charged With Felony Larceny

34-year old Roger Thomas Hamby of Hiddenite was arrested Wednesday by Alexander County Sheriff Deputies and charged with felony larceny. He was also served with arrest warrants for failure to appear on multiple probation violations. Hamby has charges pending in Catawba County that include felony larceny, felony identity theft, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $35,000.
