Taylorsville Police and the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Justin Lee Pope of Hiddenite on Tuesday. He’s been charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. No other details have been released. Pope is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center. A Monday, September 22nd court date is scheduled.
