Hiddenite Man Arrested For Second Time This Week

In and out of jail for a Hiddenite man of late. For now he’s in.

On Monday, 30-year old Jason Tyler Dover was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of simple assault. He was released after a $1,500 bond was posted. Wednesday morning, Dover was arrested again by County Deputies for violating his release order. He’s in the Alexander County Detention Center with a current bond listed at $10,000.

Dover has a long list of previous charges awaiting trial. The offenses include felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree trespass, damage to real property, resisting arrest and along list of traffic related charges that include driving with license revoked.

The next court date for Dover is September 18th.
