A Hiddenite home was destroyed by an overnight fire.
Hiddenite, Stony Point, and Vashti Fire Departments were dispatched to 488 Berea Church Quincy Road around 10:40 pm. The home was engulfed in flames when the first units arrived. No injuries were reported, occupants were able to escape. The Alexander County Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the blaze.
