Hiddenite Couple Charged With Harboring Fugitive

A man and a woman from Alexander County have been charged with harboring a fugitive.

On Tuesday, June 7th, Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office stopped a suspicious vehicle. As reported on Wednesday, 34-year old Codey James Matheson of Taylorsville was found in the trunk of a vehicle. https://860wacb.com/taylorsville-man-is-back-in-jail/ The occupants of that vehicle have been charged.

37-year old Shannon Wayne Hinson of Hiddenite was charged with harboring a fugitive and carrying a concealed gun. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Alexander County Court on Monday, June 13th.

34-year old Crystal Marie Miler of Hiddenite was charged with harboring a fugitive. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $5,000, Miller is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, June 13th.
