Erin Marie Mecimore, age 29 of Hickory is being held in Alexander County Custody. She was ordered to serve 14 days in the Alexander County Detention Center by a District Court Judge on Monday. She was sentenced for violating terms of her parole. Mecimore was arrested in Alexander County in December 2022 for failure to appear on a charge of assault with serious injury with a minor present.
