Hickory Woman Charged With Drugs On Jail Premises

32-year-old Samantha Hope Keigans of 9th Avenue NE in Hickory was arrested Wednesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with two felony counts of possession of controlled substance on prison or jail premises and two counts of prescriptions and labeling. She’s also charged with misdemeanor larceny. Keigans was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $9,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (February 26).
