Hickory Police has arrested a woman and charged her with assault this morning. 27 year old Jakayia Shaquanda Griggs was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, and resisting a public officer. She was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $3,000.
