Joseph Edward Brown, age 33 of Hickory, was arrested Sunday by Hickory Police Department Officers. He was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen goods. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $14,500. A Tuesday, May 31st court date is scheduled in Newton.
