Hickory Police Charge Woman With Attempted Murder

31-year-old Cadisha Laquana Kadia Hill of Columbia, South Carolina has been arrested by Hickory Police on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.

The incident occurred Thursday in the parking lot at the Courtyard by Marriot on 13th Avenue Drive S.E. in Hickory. Hickory Police responded to reports of a shooting in the area shortly after 4 a.m.

35-year-old Jeremy Antwoine Hubbard of St. Louis, Missouri was found in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem where he was listed in stable condition, at last report. Cadisha Laquana Kadia Hill is a known acquaintance of Mr. Hubbard.

Hill was jailed placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility where she is being held without bond. A first appearance in District Court is coming up tomorrow Friday in Newton.

The investigation is ongoing.
