Brannon Tyrek Beckham, age 28 of Hickory, was arrested by Hickory Police Friday evening. Beckham was charged with felony assault by strangulation, two counts of second-degree kidnapping, a bill of indictment for habitual misdemeanor assault and a bill of indictment for assault on a female. Beckham is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court on Monday, February 15th.
