37-year-old Brandon Torray Colbert of 8th Avenue SE in Hickory was arrested Sunday (February 23) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged with first-degree forcible sex offense, first-degree kidnapping, indecent liberties with a child, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Colbert was confined in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1 million bond. A District court appearance was scheduled Monday (February 24).
