Hickory Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officers

A Hickory man has been charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer.

24-year old Kenneth Anthony Robinson was taken into custody Thursday by Hickory Police. Robinson is charged with 2 counts of assault-inflicting serious injury to a law enforcement officer and resisting a public officer. Robinson is being held in the Catawba County Detention under a secured bond of $12,000. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Friday in Newton.
