A low-pressure system will move into the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia Monday night into Tuesday bringing heavy rainfall and windy conditions. Rainfall totals ranging from 2 to 4 inches may lead to scattered flooding.
A wintry mix will be possible across portions of the North Carolina Foothills Monday night into Tuesday morning, but a transition to rain is expected by Tuesday afternoon.
Gusty winds may lead to downed trees which may result in isolated power outages.
