The Lady Cougars ended a two-game losing streak and did it convincingly at home on Thursday. Laney Wike pitched a 1 hit, 7 strikeout gem. McArtney Harington went 4 -4 with three RBI and a pair of homers, Kenzie Church homered and had 3 runs-batted in as well. Alexander Central is now 3-2 on the season.

The Cougars trailed 2-1 before scoring four runs in the 5th inning at West Rowan. They would add a pair of runs in the 6th and three more in the 7th. ACHS out-hit the home team 10-3. Mason Chapman Mays and Wade Queen both had a pair of RBI. The Cougars are now 4-1.
