Lance Robert Barrett, 37, of Archer St, Granite Falls, was taken into custody by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday. He has been charged with breaking and entering to terrorize or injure, domestic criminal trespass, false imprisonment , communicating threats and harassing phone call. As of earlier today, Barrett remains in the Catawba County Detention Center without bond. A court appearance is scheduled for today in Newton.
