Granite Falls Man Charged With Statutory Rape

A Granite Falls man is facing a series of felony child-sex related charges after being arrested Wednesday morning by Hickory Police Officers.

30-year-old Shadow Vincent Walsh is charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child, two counts of statutory rape of a child 15-years-old or younger, and statutory sex offense with a child 15-years-old or younger. He is being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail and will make a court appearance today in Newton.
