Granite Falls Couple Charged With Drug Trafficking

39-year-old Thomas Benjamin Binegar and 38-year-old Jessica Marie McMahon, both from Granite Falls, were arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers Monday. They were each charged with felony trafficking in heroin or opium.
Binegar and McMahon were taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center with bond for each set at $70,000, secured. Neither are listed as inmates as of earlier today. Binegar will appear in District Court today in Lenoir. No Caldwell County court dates are currently listed for McMahon.
