Freedom’s Varsity Basketball teams had little trouble dispatching Alexander Central Friday night in Morganton.

The Patriots pushed their record to 21-1 with a rout of the Lady Cougars. Lanie Hammer had 9 points for ACHS which fell to 2-20 on the season.

Freedom is now 21-1 overall and 12-0 in Northwestern Conference Play. AC was led by Jem Lowrance with 13 and Maddox Kerley with 11. The Cougars are now 15-7 overall and 8-4 in league play.
