Florida Man Charged With Assaulting Hickory Police Officers

29-year-old Micah Freeman Rodgers of Ocklawaha, Florida, was arrested Sunday, April 2nd by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with four felony counts of assault with physical injury on a law enforcement, probation, or parole officer. Rodgers is also charged with misdemeanor counts of assault on a government official or employee, injury to personal property, and simple assault.

Rodgers was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $35,000 bond. A District Court date is scheduled for April 24.
