Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Fire On Thursday In Taylorsville

On Thursday at approximately 1:45 pm, the Central Alexander Fire Department along with Hiddenite and Sugar Loaf Fire Departments were dispatched to a possible working commercial fire on Saunders Lane in Taylorsvaille. Reports indicated a trapped subject in the structure. Units responded to the scene and working fire was called. After a primary and secondary search was completed it was determined no one was inside the structure. Control of the fire was gained quickly. The Alexander County Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the fire.

Alexander County Rescue and EMS were dispatched to the scene along with Taylorsville Police.
