A Newton man is facing felony drug charges. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year old Brian Len Ledford on Sunday and charged him felony trafficking in methamphetamine and felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. Ledford is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000. A court appearance is scheduled for today.
