Felony Charges Filed Against Stony Point Couple

Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested a Stony Point couple Monday evening.

33-year old Michael James Morgan is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and felony possession of a stolen firearm. He’s being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $50,000.

29-year old Chelsy Lynn Combs is charged with felony possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of schedule II controlled substance. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $50,000.
