A man died in a Catawba County house fire on Monday. The home was located on Ledford Road in Vale.
The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death along with the Catawba County Fire Marshal’s Office.
The name of the victim has not been released.
A firefighter suffered an injury and was taken to a hospital and released after treatment.
