Emergency Pothole Repair on I-77 Begins in Iredell County

STATESVILLE – Today, N.C. Department of Transportation crews closed a section of Interstate 77 in Iredell County for an emergency pothole repair.

One lane of I-77 South was closed between Tomlin Mill Road and Olin Road to allow crews to safely repair a hole in the bridge over Patterson Creek. Work is expected to be complete by Thursday afternoon.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and anticipate some delays.
