Eastern NC Man Facing String Of Felony Charges In Alexander County

A man from Eastern North Carolina is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court today. Matthew Stephen Whitener, 34, of Windsor in Bertie County, was placed in custody on Friday. He faces charges of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny felony conspiracy and felony financial card theft.
