37-year old Antoine Durel Reid of Catawba is facing felony drug and weapons charges after his arrest on Wednesday by the Hickory Police Department. Reid is charged with felony trafficking in Opium or heroin, felony trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon. Reid is being held in the Catawba County Jail. His bond is set at $700,000 with a first court appearance today in Newton.
