Lynn Harrington Carroll III, age 52, of Taylorsville was arrested on Monday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Charges of felony conspiring to traffic opium or heroin, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia were filed. Carroll is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond. He’s scheduled to make an appearance today in Catawba County District Court.
