The body of a male in his 40’s was located in Wilkes County on Friday.
Martin Shane Canter, 46, was found dead in a wooded area off West Waugh Street in North Wilkesboro. Canter was found outside a tent in an area where homeless people are known to camp
The North Wilkesboro Police Department is in charge of the investigation.
